The 2024 EX Impact Awards: Discovering Insights, Delivering Impact

Perceptyx launched its first annual EX Impact Awards earlier this year to recognize organizations that utilize the People Insights Platform to discover insights, act on results, and impact their employees’ experience in extraordinary ways.

We were humbled by the 40+ organizations who shared their stories, and by the thousands of People leaders who cast online votes to choose our five winners, acknowledging these organizations' dedication to driving EX transformation.

Earlier this week we officially announced the 2024 EX Impact Award Winners. See their full stories below:

Align Technology 

Align Technology is a global manufacturer of 3D digital scanners and the Invisalign clear aligners used in orthodontics with more than 21,000 employees worldwide.

  • INSIGHTS: Implemented global employee lifecycle surveys, including exit and a three-part onboarding survey, to move towards a more holistic, continuous listening strategy on a global scale.

  • IMPACT: Enhanced HR Business Partner discussions during exit interviews and improved onboarding processes, with plans to use a full year of exit data to develop action plans aimed at reducing attrition.

Carhartt is an internationally renowned workwear and outdoor apparel company.

  • INSIGHTS: Developed a cohesive and impactful employee engagement strategy to address inconsistencies in action planning across the company, leading to the creation of dedicated action planning teams at both the enterprise and local levels.
  • IMPACT: Achieved 85% employee engagement, noting significant improvements in Trust and Respect, Communication, and Recognition through continuous focus and effort.

Children’s Nebraska

Children's Nebraska is a premier pediatric healthcare organization that has provided specialized care for children across Nebraska and beyond since its founding in 1948.

  • INSIGHTS: Launched first-ever comprehensive census survey integrating employee, provider engagement, and RN satisfaction.
  • IMPACT:  Initiated a formal, enterprise-wide, multi-disciplinary strategy for workplace safety, improving safety scores in subsequent pulse surveys, reflecting increased confidence in the survey process and safety at work.

ESAB Corporation

ESAB Corporation is a premier global leader in connected fabrication technology and gas control solutions.

  • INSIGHTS: Gathered feedback on communication effectiveness, talent lifecycle value, managerial interactions, team collaboration, health & safety initiatives, and overall employee experience to address challenges in merging cultures post-acquisition.
  • IMPACT: Achieved high response rates from employees in manufacturing – typically hard to reach – locations, and identified 1-2 focus areas per location, leading to tailored action plans and ongoing monitoring of progress towards change management objectives.

UC San Diego Health

UC San Diego Health is repeatedly ranked the No. 1 health system in San Diego and is the only academic healthcare system serving the San Diego community.

  • INSIGHTS: Conducted in-depth analyses of survey results, focusing on departments with notably high and low scores on the “safe to speak” item.

  • IMPACT: Set a strategic goal for the 2023 – 2024 fiscal year focused on completing course offerings from the “Safe to Speak” toolkits and action plans to reinforce a culture where speaking up is encouraged and supported.
