2025 EX Impact Award Winners: The Power of EX Transformation

Perceptyx launched its second annual EX Impact Awards earlier this year to recognize organizations that utilize our People Insights Platform to discover insights, act on results, and impact their employees' experience in extraordinary ways.

We were humbled by the 27 organizations that shared their stories, and by the thousands of EX professionals who cast online votes for our People Leader’s Choice Award. All of these inspiring customer stories are now available in our Customer Stories library, showcasing the remarkable achievements of organizations leveraging people insights to transform their employee experience.

2025 Category Winners

People Leader's Choice Award: Emerson Electric Company

INSIGHTS: Emerson created a comprehensive enterprise well-being strategy based on four key pillars: physical, mental, financial, and social health, supported by a network of nearly 200 Well-being Champions across all job levels and geographies.

IMPACT: Emerson's holistic approach has led to creative wellness initiatives worldwide, including a reforestation event in Mexico with 270 employees planting 1,300 trees, and "WellnessLand" in Iowa engaging 450 employees in health education. Employee testimonials highlight the profound impact, with one sharing, "I feel very lucky to work for a company that genuinely cares about the physical and emotional health of their employees."

GO DEEPER INTO THE NUMBERS: 12% improvement in well-being index score (71% to 83%) in just one year, 200 trained well-being champions across global locations, and increased utilization of Employee Assistance Program resources across all levels of the organization.

Career Progression: Veradigm

INSIGHTS: Veradigm implemented a comprehensive learning strategy organized around four key audience segments — new hires, early talent, individual contributors, and leaders — centered on their innovative Quarterly Touchpoint (QTP) program for development conversations.

IMPACT: Veradigm's initiatives have sparked a cultural transformation, breaking down organizational silos through their "Coffee, Tea & Insights" program while creating multiple pathways for learning that accommodate different schedules and learning styles. The Emerging Professionals Program demonstrated tangible career impact, with nine participants earning promotions within the program period.

GO DEEPER INTO THE NUMBERS: 50% increase in learning engagement with LinkedIn Learning course completions surging from 8,000 to 12,000 annually, 40% improvement in leader conflict resolution capabilities through the "Leader as a Coach" program, and 95% satisfaction in cross-functional understanding initiatives.

Change & Innovation: Advocate Health

INSIGHTS: Following a major organizational integration, Advocate Health transformed its fragmented employee feedback system by consolidating multiple separate surveys into a unified "Culture of Safety and Work Environment Survey," reducing questions from 250 to just 49.

IMPACT: This streamlined approach created a more responsive and unified organization better equipped to support both teammates and their mission of delivering exceptional healthcare. The transformation achieved true data integration across all verticals, enabling more informed strategic decision-making and helping bridge cultural gaps between different parts of the organization.

GO DEEPER INTO THE NUMBERS: 80% reduction in survey questions (from 250 to 49), 86,000 teammates engaged in the unified feedback process, and 6,000 leaders trained in streamlined action planning — reducing up to five separate plans to just one focused initiative.

DEIB: Perficient

INSIGHTS: With a workforce of more than 7,000 colleagues across 12+ countries, Perficient crafted a comprehensive DEIB strategy centered around five distinct Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): Women in Technology, Giving, Cultural Connections, LiveWell, and PRISM (LGBTQ+).

IMPACT: Perficient's commitment to community impact has been equally strong, with colleagues donating more than 11,000 pounds of food and 46,000 meals to local food banks during their 2024 Hunger Action Month campaign. Through the Perficient Gives Global Grants Program, the company is making $5,000 donations to 10 charitable organizations, with plans to continue the program throughout 2025.

GO DEEPER INTO THE NUMBERS: 15% increase in ERG participation (from 20% in 2020 to 35% in 2023), 90% favorability on DEIB initiatives (17 points above benchmark), and 93% favorability on cross-team collaboration (32 points above benchmark). Women now comprise 30% of Perficient's workforce, including leadership positions.

Employee Engagement: Arca Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages

INSIGHTS: Facing challenges with retention and workforce respect, Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages introduced a multi-tiered approach to embed leadership and cultural values, including AI-assisted Intelligent Nudges guiding leaders toward actionable behaviors aligned with their Leadership Code and Culture Principles.

IMPACT: Over five years, overall engagement favorability rose by 19.2%, reaching an 85% favorability score in the most recent survey. In 2024 alone, more than 900 engagement action plans were created by leaders at every level, driving localized improvements and strengthening trust.

GO DEEPER INTO THE NUMBERS: 19.2% improvement in overall engagement over five years, 70% leader participation rate in nudge-based action planning, and an 11% increase in employee referrals year over year.

Employee Health & Well-Being: Hanger Inc.

INSIGHTS: When Hanger relaunched their employee engagement survey in 2023, it discovered elevated stress levels and lower satisfaction with work-life balance. In response, they launched "Healthy Hanger" — a comprehensive well-being ecosystem offering support across emotional, physical, social, and financial dimensions.

IMPACT: The improvements in employee experience translated into tangible business results and fundamental changes in employee sentiment. Work-life balance comments showed a dramatic shift, with positive sentiments more than tripling from their previous levels. The workload category saw a 63% increase in positive sentiments year over year, reflecting successful efforts to address a key pain point identified in the initial survey.

GO DEEPER INTO THE NUMBERS: 33.5% first-year enrollment in Calm (2x higher than the industry average), 14.4% utilization of Spring Health (nearly 5x the industry average of 3%), and 4% reduction in administrative staff attrition. Pulse surveys revealed a 10% increase in employees believing their feedback would drive real improvements.

Employee Retention: Prudential Financial

INSIGHTS: During a period of significant organizational change, Prudential identified a concerning pattern: while overall voluntary turnover was decreasing, quit rates among top talent were trending upward. Through sophisticated multi-year analysis, they discovered employees who responded unfavorably to the "intent to stay" question were 6x more likely to leave within the year.

IMPACT: Prudential's success validated the power of combining predictive analytics with targeted interventions. By allowing data to guide their retention strategy, they focused resources where they would have the greatest impact. Local leaders could make precise adjustments to their talent strategy, team design, and objectives based on specific risk factors identified through the analysis.

GO DEEPER INTO THE NUMBERS: 25% reduction in the voluntary turnover rate among top talent within six months, 40% decrease in the absolute volume of departures, and employees who responded unfavorably to the "intent to stay" question were identified as 6x more likely to leave within the year — creating a powerful predictive indicator for future interventions.

Manager Effectiveness: Norton Healthcare

INSIGHTS: As Norton Healthcare expanded through acquisitions and new facility openings between 2023 and 2024, the organization developed an innovative "Culture Champions" program that used data to identify and learn from its most effective leaders, establishing clear metrics for leadership excellence.

IMPACT: The program took a two-pronged approach to improving leadership effectiveness — identifying top-performing leaders based on concrete metrics and engaging them as active advisors on experience tools and platforms. Understanding that meaningful culture change requires systematic support, they elevated key performance indicators to organizational goals, making leadership rounding a system-wide requirement after data showed that 10 or more rounds per employee significantly increased feelings of value and engagement.

GO DEEPER INTO THE NUMBERS: 90.5% favorable engagement score among Champion-led teams, 13.2% higher leader trust ratings compared to the rest of the organization, and 22% lower intent to leave scores among these teams. Culture Champions performed 1,180 unique employee rounds and generated 2,591 recognition moments through their dedicated platform.
