Ava Jones, R.N., M.S.M., Ph.D., currently Senior Workforce Transformation Consultant at Perceptyx, has spent more than three decades improving the performance of organizations by linking cultural and service excellence with proven performance improvement methodologies. Witty, a rousing motivator, and described as “maniacal about workforce transformation and customer loyalty,” Dr. Jones takes the complexities of chaotic systems and distills them to easy-to-understand concepts. Retiring from the United States Navy at the rank of Commander, Dr. Jones has held a variety of staff, middle management, and executive level positions throughout her career. Relentlessly innovative and having developed a reputation for her outstanding clinical and administrative abilities and service excellence strategies, she has catalyzed numerous innovative and cost-saving ideas. She has also spearheaded many multi-disciplinary process improvement initiatives that improved access and timeliness of care, cost deferments, staff proficiency, enhanced patient and community relationships, and benchmarks in customer service for Navy Medicine and Department of Defense, the Veterans Health Administration, and a host of other large and small organizations which include higher education, banking, and not-for-profit entities.
