World-class listening and action strategies delivered outcomes ranging from improved work-life balance, to reduced turnover, to increased employee engagement
TEMECULA, Calif., March 27, 2025 — Perceptyx, the global leader in employee listening and actioning for a better workplace, today announced the winners of its EX IMPACT Awards. Now in its second year, the EX IMPACT Awards honor customers that have uncovered key insights, taken meaningful action, and created extraordinary employee experiences using Perceptyx’s People Insights Platform.
The EX Impact Awards illustrate how people-first organizations are rising to today’s workplace challenges. Key themes among this year’s entries included workplace wellness as an imperative, the rise of AI in HR, and a focus on leadership effectiveness.
The winners of the 2025 EX IMPACT Awards are:
Winner: Prudential Financial, Inc. | Category: Employee Retention
American financial services company Prudential Financial, Inc. discovered that quit rates among top talent were trending upward despite declining overall voluntary turnover. It embarked on the development of a systemic approach to predicting and preventing unwanted departures among its most valuable employees. Through its partnership with Perceptx, Prudential conducted a sophisticated multi-year analysis, combining data from engagement surveys, exit surveys, and voluntary turnover records, and devised an action plan. Within six months, it achieved a 25% reduction in the voluntary turnover rate among top talent, with the absolute volume of departures dropping by 40%.
Winner: Norton Healthcare | Category: Manager Effectiveness
This fast-growing healthcare system needed to devise a strategy for maintaining and scaling leadership excellence as it acquired and opened new facilities. Norton Healthcare developed an innovative "Culture Champions" program that used data to identify and learn from its most effective leaders. Working with Perceptyx and other partners, it established clear metrics for leadership excellence and elevated key performance indicators to be part of organizational goals. Leaders identified through the program achieved an average engagement score of 90.5% favorable among their teams. Culture Champion-led teams reported leader trust ratings 13.2% higher than the rest of the organization.
Winner: Veradigm | Category: Career Progression Award
Low engagement scores inspired Veradigm (formerly Allscripts) to partner with Perceptyx to revitalize its learning and development programs. The electronic health record (EHR) technology provider rolled out a comprehensive learning strategy organized around four key audience segments, introduced a structured approach to development conversations between leaders and teams, and launched a series of innovative L&D programs. As a result, Veradigm saw a 95% satisfaction rate in cross-functional learning initiatives, course completions surged from 8,000 to 12,000, and leader conflict resolution scores improved by 40%.
Winner: Perficient | Category: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB)
With 7,000 employees distributed across 12 countries, Perficient struggled to address systemic gaps in representation and harmonize its DEIB initiatives across diverse cultural and regional contexts. The digital consultancy turned to Perceptyx to craft a comprehensive DEIB strategy centered around five distinct Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), each targeting specific aspects of inclusion and belonging. As a result, ERG participation increased from 20% to 35% in three years. Collaboration metrics also improved, with 93% of colleagues indicating they work well across global teams, 32 points above the Perceptyx overall benchmark.
Winner: Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages | Category: Employee Engagement
Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages faced challenges with retention and workforce respect and recognized its leaders needed clear and ongoing support as exemplified in its Leadership Code. Perceptyx helped introduce a multi-tiered approach to embed leadership and cultural values into everyday work, including AI-assisted intelligent nudges (via Activate), targeted engagement action plans, continuous listening and learning, and a new leader onboarding program. This holistic strategy helped Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages improve both survey and business outcomes. Overall engagement favorability rose 19.2%, reaching an 85% favorability score in the most recent survey, and the leader participation rate in nudge-based action planning reached 70%.
Winner: Hangar | Category: Employee Health & Well-Being
After a pandemic-induced pause, Hanger relaunched its employee engagement survey in 2023 with Perceptyx. While it uncovered several trends to address, improving employee stress levels and empowerment scores was critical. Within weeks of the initial survey, Hanger launched “Healthy Hanger,” a comprehensive well-being ecosystem offering emotional, physical, social, and financial support. As a result, the organization significantly increased enrollment and utilization of emotional well-being programs (2x and 5x higher than industry averages), improved work-life balance sentiment by 25%, and reduced administrative staff attrition by 4%.
Winner: Advocate Health | Category: Change & Innovation
Following an organizational integration, Advocate Health faced a significant challenge: its existing employee feedback approach had become unwieldy, with multiple surveys covering Culture of Safety to DEI and Compliance. The process was creating survey fatigue and hindering how it derived meaningful insights. Advocate Health partnered with Perceptyx to create a unified “Culture of Safety and Work Environment Survey” focusing on both technical consolidation and cultural integration. In 18 months, strategic consolidation reduced survey questions from 250 to 49. The streamlined process attracted participation from 86,000 teammates, and 6,000 leaders completed action plan training.
Winner: Emerson | Category: Popular Vote
When the employees of Emerson Electric Company returned to the office in June 2020, they vocalized a clear need for enhanced health and well-being support. The multinational manufacturing corporation turned to Perceptyx to create a comprehensive enterprise well-being strategy based on four pillars: physical, mental, financial, and social health. It invested in specialized mental health training and created a well-being hub to provide access to help and company-sponsored benefits across all four pillars. Emerson’s well-being index score increased from 71% to 83% in just one year.
“This year’s winners are outstanding examples of organizations that not only listen to their employees, but act upon their feedback and see a measurable impact as a result,” said Steen Andersen, Chief Customer Officer at Perceptyx. “These organizations understand that people are their number one strategic asset, and they treat employee experience as a strategic function accordingly. It’s wonderful to see so many innovative programs being implemented so thoughtfully, and even better to see the meaningful difference it makes to the employee experience and our customers’ businesses. Congratulations to the winners.”
